Seven-Year Treasury Reopenings: Same Auction Rhythm, Different Cash Needs
Starting in March 2027, monthly seven-year Treasury auctions will alternate between new issues and reopenings. Bank treasury desks must separate a security’s fixed terms from each purchase’s price and settlement cash.
