Content types and labels
- Sourced news summary — an item from a third-party publisher's public feed: original headline, a short excerpt, the publisher's name, the original publication time and a link to the full article. We do not present these as our own reporting.
- Original reporting, Insight & Analysis, Interview, Resource — written or commissioned by Fintech Headlines and signed by the author.
- Editorial & Opinion — signed commentary that reflects the author's view.
- Press Release — a statement issued by a company, published as received after editorial screening.
- Regulatory — an announcement from an official regulator, central bank or standard-setter.
- Sponsored — paid content, always visibly labelled.
Sourcing
We only use feeds that publishers make freely available to the public, and we display them within the limits of a headline, a short excerpt and a link. We never bypass paywalls or access controls, never reproduce publishers' full text or images, and remove a source promptly at its publisher's request. See Our Sources.
Automated processing
Incoming items are automatically checked for relevance, classified by topic and region, and de-duplicated. Items that look promotional, speculative, off-topic or lack a publication date are held for human review instead of being published.
Accuracy and verification
Original journalism is fact-checked against primary sources. We do not invent quotations, statistics, interviews, authors or dates. Market data is shown only from a named source with its retrieval time.
Independence
Advertisers and sponsors have no influence over editorial content. Staff must disclose conflicts of interest, including holdings in digital assets they cover.
